How to Prevent Adobe from Using Your Work to Train Its AI (Photoshop and Creative Cloud)

in order to disable the AI training in your Adobe Creative Cloud account and Photoshop you're going to need to do this in two places you're going to need to do it both in your Creative Cloud account and in Photoshop itself so uh to get started you're going to want to go to the Adobe website uh or you can go right to the Privacy page if you're already logged into your Creative Cloud account I'm going to link to that in the description below so you'll head to adobe.com just click on sign in and you'll be greeted with the signin page sign in you're going to go to the upper right hand corner and you're going to click on manage account do that you'll be taken to your account management page and you go to account and security data and privacy settings you'll see desktop app usage I used to leave this on because I wanted to improve the quality of the products but now I turn it off because uh I don't trust Adobe and then you'll see content analysis Adobe May analyze your content using techniques such as machine learning to develop and improve our products and services when I logged in the other day this was turned on I had to turn it off on my own you're just going to want to turn that off and that's it if you want you can unsubscribe from Adobe delete your account I'm not going to do that I yeah I need the software for my work next we're going to open up Photoshop and you're going to click on edit scroll all the way down to preferences at the bottom and then scroll all the way down to product Improvement click on product Improvement and then you'll see Photoshop Improvement program this might be checked automatically you're going to want to disable I give Adobe permission to use my images and Associated data to train adobe's generative AI models unchecked yes I'd like to participate and that is it just hit okay and close Photoshop and that's it for Adobe if you found this video helpful please give it a thumbs up if you're a photographer interested in learning more about photography please subscribe to the channel thanks for watching
