worst advice that I ever hear is Follow Your Passion pursue your passion start a photography business if you're passionate about photography you absolutely should not just because you are passionate about something doesn't mean you need to turn it into a business doesn't mean hand turned it into a business you could be a brilliant photographer a once in a generation photographer and not have the skills to run a proper business and then you end up hating photography and then don't shoot anywhere if you don't have the business skills don't even consider it I'm not trying to gatekeep I'm not trying to prevent you from getting into this to keep the competition down I just wish this was advice that I was given 10 years ago when I decided to become a professional photographer and take my amateur skills and start generating an income from them
